Please, do not appeal to the restitutions’ “committee”

The Mayors of the Occupied Municipalities met on the 25th of June 2010 with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Dimitris Christofias.

The President informed them regarding the latest developments on the Cyprus problem and discussed with them the recent decision of the ECHR (European Court of Human Rights).

The Mayors after the meeting in their statements appealed to all refugees to refrain from recourse to the so called restitutions’ “committee” set up by Turkey in the occupied areas.

In the meeting the principles for the solution of the Cyprus problem were confirmed once again.
